Parm Gill is a serial Internet entrepreneur and currently acts as a strategic advisor, mentor, investor, and developer of intellectual property portfolios for start-ups. As Managing Partner at Gill Consulting Group, he brings with him the experience and expertise of guiding the growth and development of numerous start-up companies, from initial planning and fund-raising to business development and intellectual property development. Parm currently holds two patents and has numerous other applications in process in various international jurisdictions. Cyberus Online Inc., a fast-growing Canadian Internet company, which he co-founded in 1995, was Parm's first foray into technology. He was responsible for expanding the company to 17 cities across Canada and for exponential growth in revenues and client base, year over year. In 1999, he coordinated a merger with Eisa.com Inc., a Dallas, Texas based Internet Appliance company, and acted as VP of Business Development going forward. He focused on Mergers & Acquisitions and the integration of numerous Internet companies, as well as fund-raising initiatives, in which he was instrumental in securing a $50M term sheet within two months. Parm is a Founder & Director of ToPeer Corporation (started in 2004) - a private cloud Internet technology solution, Funeral Exchange Inc. (started in 2000) - an online funeral services business (acquired in 2003), Layered Technologies (started in 2002) - a managed server hosting infrastructure company, MetaMe Inc (started in 1999) - a Single Sign-On service (acquired in 2000), and Professor Jones (started in 1995) - a college & university level student portal (acquired in 2000).
